Late arrival and the guard’s welcome was flawless; the room was beautiful and spacious. The architecture is very nice, with bungalow stilts and appreciated heating. However, the views differ among the bungalows—some are much better than others, so check before you spend a lot of time there.

The construction is solid and the staff are friendly, but the half‑open bathroom/WC in the living area isn’t for everyone.

Wat een prachtige en unieke locatie! De huisjes zijn prima onderhouden en alles is heel proper. Comfortabele bedden. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Speciale vermelding voor de dames die het ontbijt verzorgen en voor Johny die ‘s nachts waakte over onze veiligheid. Dankjewel voor je aanstekelijk enthousiasme, Johny!! Het kan erg koud zijn in Swakopmund, het elektrische vuurtje op de kamer hebben wij goed kunnen gebruiken. Ik had twee huisjes geboekt, een voor ons en een voor onze twee kinderen. Blijkbaar was een van de huisjes er eentje voor 4 personen. Nochtans had ik het aantal personen correct opgegeven. Misschien had ik beter moeten opletten. Zonde… Opletten dus!
