From the moment we stepped into The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo, smiles greeted us. The team is outstanding, especially Vivienne who led us on a six‑hour bike tour to Dragon Bridge, an old town, and a local market where we sampled food—an unforgettable highlight. At first we thought the location was too remote, but the shuttle was excellent and the driver super friendly.
“Merveilleux”
The spot is great for strolling along the river to reach the city center while still enjoying the countryside calm. The staff speak English and are very attentive. The pool is nice, and breakfast is decent. The gym isn’t air‑conditioned, so running there in the heat is tough.
The hotel is a bit far from the city, but that’s not a problem thanks to the shuttle or the option to rent scooters right at the property. The area is quiet, the pool is good, and there’s a kids’ play zone. Reception staff are very friendly and helped us plan our three days in Xi’an. The on‑site restaurant offers a Western‑style menu; we ate twice and it was tasty, a bit pricey but worth it.
