I managed an early check‑in and my room on the third floor had a private balcony overlooking the stunning Lake Gregory; the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic, so all in all it was great.

It rained that night, the roof leaked and the floor got wet, but on dry days it was fine.

The location was fine, but the staff were totally untrained, the stairs were rickety, there was no lift, the room was uncomfortable, and the beds were unclean.

Breakfast was delicious; we didn’t pick the breakfast option but added it separately and it was really good, the view was amazing, everything else was fine, and we even received a welcome drink.
