The location was great, rooms were comfy, food was excellent, and the staff were lovely. The only downside was the lack of a quiet corner—something like a small lounge or library for games and private chats would have been nice.

The place had a good location, friendly staff, and a solid restaurant.

The location was great and the team was very welcoming. The free afternoon coffee and cake was lovely, especially the best fudge brownie ever! Dinner there was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious too. Our room offered a great view over the harbour entrance, and we almost caught a beautiful sunset until a few last wisps of cloud appeared. The bathroom could use a light cosmetic touch‑up.

We were welcomed warmly with free coffee and cake, and the service from everyone was attentive and genuine. The Harbourmaster restaurant served scallops and lobster cooked to perfection, and I can’t recommend it highly. The only downside was the departure.

I’ve stayed here before, so I know how good it is; everything is spotless and feels luxurious, and the staff are superb. The only issue is that my single room by the sea had a very small en‑suite, but I understand that can’t be changed.
