The staff were welcoming. The location is noisy, lacks privacy, and the rooms have a smell of rotting wood; the furniture is old.

Everything was perfect: the location, the typical Balinese room, the staff’s kindness and willingness, the room’s cleanliness, the comfortable bed, the pool, the patio, and all the services.

It’s quiet and peaceful, and although there was no breakfast, there were plenty of eating places nearby, giving you plenty of options. Water pressure could be better, but overall the staff are great, responsive to questions, and the place is clean and neat.

I stayed in Nyuh Kuning, a quiet village just across from Monkey Forest, and the hotel sits back from the road, making it very peaceful. There are several rooms to pick from, each with its own view and features, all of which were delightful. I couldn’t find anything to dislike about the property.
