“Disappointing, as I have loved the other two Leonardo Hotels I have stayed at, but this was not up to the same standard.”
Breakfast was fine. Location was fairly central. 1. When we turned up to check in, the car park was already full. We had to park on a different car park that was around 3 minutes drive followed by 8 minutes walk back to the hotel (with luggage). This was more like 15 minutes walk for me as I suffer with severe peroneal tendinitis and struggle to walk more than a few steps, so I only ever book a hotel with a car park on site. The following day, I needed to use my car again through the day. I got back to the hotel at 2:30pm after using my car and the car park was once again full. I can’t understand this, as people wouldn’t have checked in yet for the night, so there should only be guests who had stayed the night before, so I thought the car park would be fairly empty. Just goes to show that there are nowhere near enough parking spaces. So I once again had to park at the other car park and walk over. 2. The window ledge had water on it, as though there is a leak or issue with the window. 3. After our room had been cleaned, there was a key card left in the room. Whether this was a key card that would open all guests’ rooms, that the cleaning staff use, I don’t know. This was very strange, so we somehow ended up with 3 key cards
