I liked that this hotel was right in the center of Arequipa, just a few blocks from the main square. That being said, the place was pretty basic - I guess that's what I got for the price. The mattress was old and I could feel the springs, and the pillow was pretty worn out too. They didn't provide a towel, assuming there was hot water, and there was no phone or anything. They just gave me the keys and that was it.

I really appreciated how quiet the place was, it was a nice change of pace. Everything was fine, no major issues or anything.

“Decepción”

The WiFi was pretty good, but that's about it. The TV was ancient and the room had a lock on it, which was weird. They promised to give me an electronic receipt but never did, and there was only one bathroom for a bunch of rooms.

“Basic and primitive character”

I stayed at this super basic hotel, but the low prices made it a good choice for me. The room was pretty sparse and I had to share the toilet and shower with other guests, but at least they were really clean, along with the bedding. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was a plus. The whole place has a pretty rustic, no-frills vibe that might not be for everyone, but it worked for me.
