The stay was tranquil on the riverbank in Upington, with a lovely pool, self‑catering facilities, and plenty of off‑street parking. The gardens were lush and beautiful, and the bird life was abundant—bring binoculars. Nothing negative.

The location on the bank of the Orange River is beautiful. Everything was fully equipped for self‑catering, no need to bring utensils. Clean, tidy, and all in working order. The area is quiet, parking is secure, and the staff are friendly. No faults found.

We stayed in the cottage on the riverbank, self‑catering. The location was beautiful, the thatched cottage had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, and a hot shower. Hostess Gonda gave lots of useful information. It was so good we returned after visiting Augrabie and then went on to Namibia.
