Good breakfast, great location. The rooms were small/ cramped.
The staff were incredibly friendly, the breakfast was very good, and it’s only a 15‑minute walk to the train and bus stations. A taxi or Uber to the airport costs about 200 NOK. The hotel is modest but good value, and it has everything you need.
The staff are very pleasant and the hotel operates largely on self‑check‑in/out, yet they’re quick to assist if you hit a snag. There’s a laundry with dryers, a small home gym with a treadmill, a sauna, and a 24/7 snack shop. Breakfast is a buffet and tasty. The room offers a lovely water view, as does the gym, and there’s a comfy bench to relax on. We didn’t try dinner, but the menu looked impressive with smoked salmon, meatballs, and mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, dinner lacked a vegetarian option; there were many fish and meat dishes, but no vegetarian mains even though rice and mashed potatoes were available. The rooms feel a bit small, but the abundance of facilities makes up for that.
