I stayed again after a good first visit, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, the whole place was clean, and I could soak in the gold or silver baths. The only downside was having to climb stairs to reach the hotel, which is a hassle if you’re lugging a big suitcase or have mobility issues, and there’s no elevator inside.

The vibe from the entrance to the front door was nice. However, there were some problems and it felt cheap; the food wasn’t good.

The environment was quiet, which I liked. The room lacked a washbasin and the hotel didn’t have a hot‑water bath (大浴場).

Every stay was perfect. The only issue was the lack of parking near the ryokan.

The meals were delicious and I was satisfied. It was disappointing that everything was tatami; at least I’d have liked a chair for the meal because some guests had knee pain and didn’t like sitting in seiza.
