The location was convenient, but I couldn’t even assess the room because the owner refused to let us in after a 45‑minute delay—he’d been unresponsive at first, then told us not to bother him, leaving us two elderly people outside and forcing us to find alternative accommodation even though we had already paid.

I’m not used to harsh reviews, but this was beyond unacceptable: the mattress was ruined, street noise was loud, the windows were poorly screened, and it was unbearably hot; the owner kept the windows open and wouldn’t let us close them, the air‑conditioning was present but he wouldn’t allow us to use it or touch it, there was no remote, and after dinner he turned it off; at 6 am I called and he turned it back on—this was dishonest and almost cruel. Cameras were in the apartment, infringing on privacy, and the bathroom’s glass door was a violation too. B&B is best avoided because the owner is disrespectful.
