“Bis auf den Geruch im Zimmer, wars okay.”
The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and both the furniture and beds were worn out.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and we had no issues with the accommodation.

Everything was very clean and had everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we’ll gladly come back if we’re in the area again. The beds could be better, at least the mattresses.

Good location right on the bike path, short walk into town and to shops. The pots had dead moths, the cutlery still had old food residue, and the fridge was brutally loud.

Nothing! The reality didn’t match the photos and description on the site. The listing said there were two single beds, but the photo shows a double bed. Usually that means a box‑spring with two mattresses. We had booked a “luxury” room the night before arrival. When we got there, the room was a kind of cold bathroom with a 1.20 × 2.00 m bed with a thin mattress (max 10 cm) and next to it a single bed of 90 × 2.00 m. The manager said he did that so two technicians could sleep in the room. That’s exactly how the whole setup feels: suited for workers, not a holiday for a couple. When we pointed out the mismatch with the photos, shoulders were shrugged. Note! Also don’t expect a home‑like response at that point. You have to sort it yourself. We’re lucky to always have a tent when we travel on the Bonnevooi; I’d rather sleep in that ten times than in this bathroom. No refund, apology, or offer was made. Too bad, but I advise everyone not to book this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a bathroom or it really doesn’t matter.
