We stayed with our kids in this old‑house vibe place; it felt nostalgic and I liked that there was no TV. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the bath, the shower was confusing to operate, and the bathroom and toilet were in the same room, which was a first for us in a long time.

The interior is absolutely stunning; if you’re into antiques and retro style, you’ll have a blast here. There were no negatives to mention.

Getting to the spot we wanted was easy, but mosquitoes were everywhere and I wish they’d mow the grass. There was no toilet paper, and the detergent and hand soap were barely enough. The bed was narrow, the lights were hard to figure out, and there was no TV.

The location lets you soak up Shiga Island, the rooms are spacious, the décor is stylish, the furniture is calming, and the staff’s hospitality is great. The bath was cold, the focus on style caused some inconveniences, there were missing amenities like toothbrushes, there’s no tub to fill, and the shower is awkward to use.
