The place is incredibly peaceful, clean, and cozy. At night, insects fly around, but that’s expected since the homestay is up in the mountains. Waking up to a lovely view and quiet surroundings calms the mood. The owner, Ate Claire, is very attentive and checks in regularly to see if we’re comfortable and what we need. She also suggested tours that matched our preferences and ensured we were well taken care of by the guide. This is one of my most memorable trips in the Philippines.
