We ate supper the night before our stay and brunch on the day after at Sugar & Rye, both were excellent for food and service; the location can’t be beat since the rooms are above the restaurant, giving a real New Orleans vibe; the room wasn’t huge but it was clean and pretty, and we’ll definitely recommend it to others; having designated parking was a huge plus!

The property was so cute! I stayed only one night for a wedding but it was nice; the terrible weather meant I didn’t get to enjoy as much as I wanted; the room was gorgeous and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on; not all parking is on site, which isn’t an issue normally; lugging bags from the parking lot around the corner and up the stairs in the freezing cold rain wasn’t my favorite but it’s Galveston strand so it’s to be expected.

The room was cute with high ceilings and above a nice restaurant; there wasn’t a personal balcony like the pictures depicted and the shower ran out of hot water so fast, making it a cold shower for both; the AC was also set to a temperature we couldn’t change and it was so cold.
