“Perfect!”

After a backcountry camping trip in Bruce Peninsula National Park, we stayed here with our dog. The property is beautiful, with sprawling lawns, fragrant apple trees, a pool (closed for the season), and BBQ grills. It’s connected to an Indian restaurant, which is convenient. The young man at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and competent, even letting us check out a couple of hours late after a car issue and while we waited for a mechanic. All in all, a very good stay and we’d come back if we visit the area again.

The location and cleanliness are great, but the room feels a little tight.

We were there the weekend after Labor Day, and the only problem was that the air conditioning cycled off once it hit the set temperature, leaving the room sweltering and us waking up drenched in sweat each night; it stayed on for 10 minutes and then shut off for the next 20 minutes repeatedly.

The room cost $300 a night and didn't include breakfast; when we requested a one‑hour late checkout, they said it would cost an extra $50.

“Pricey for the night, but clean and great location.”

The location was great, but the beds were uncomfortable and the price was very high, even though everything else was very clean. The bed itself was the main drawback.
