I love this guesthouse – it’s a heritage home turned into a cozy spot, totally different from the usual modern hotels in China. The host is a lovely lady, cooks both Chinese and Western dishes that taste great, and her English is spot on. I spent a quiet afternoon reading here, away from the crowds, and I’ll definitely come back.

The “Hé Fēng” room blew me away – feels like a private garden, comfy sheets, and plenty of space. We even sat in the back courtyard, snacking on sunflower seeds and a little drink. The owner’s cooking is top‑notch, breakfast was thoughtful and tasty, and I tried passion‑fruit rice noodles for the first time – brunch was great too.

It’s amazing how they kept the old Guangxi house structure but inside it’s all modern design. The experience is really different from other places. Everything feels great.

Breakfast was good, though I didn’t snap any pics. The house sits in a quiet village corner, and a car can drop you straight to the hotel. There are only five rooms across two buildings, plus two cute cats – I’ll stay longer next time.
