“Buena ubicación”
The location was excellent, we stayed two consecutive days and had no problems. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. We were in a room with an ensuite bathroom, and one of the sink handles didn’t work, but that wasn’t a big deal because the other one worked fine. The front‑desk ladies were a bit shy and serious the first two days, but the last woman on our final day was very sweet and warm; we checked out early in the morning and she was attentive. When you book through the app you can’t pay there, and when you arrive you have to cover the full amount even though the app has already charged part of it, which confused us, but we ended up paying the whole thing. My advice is to pay directly at the hotel, pay in quetzales if you can, but they also accept cards with a 10 % commission that you might want to consider. I’d suggest they provide personal care items like bath soap and a sponge; they don’t include shampoo and only give a small bar of soap that isn’t very useful, and the toilet paper isn’t great either, probably to cut costs. We stayed an extra day and were assigned a shared‑bathroom room that had no tap handle to level the water, so it ran very lukewarm; keep that in mind if you’re staying longer. If you’re just passing through it’s fine.
