A beautiful castle with a stunning setting, we were truly impressed by the whole vibe… only stayed one night because we were passing through, but we’ll definitely drop by again and probably stay longer to explore more. The restaurant at the “ALTER SPEICHER” offers excellent cuisine and very friendly service in a gorgeous atmosphere… thumbs up and definitely worth a (longer) stop. Nothing that we didn’t like.

The magnificent castle is in a quiet spot, the interior décor is fairly modern, there are plenty of parking spaces, and breakfast is plentiful. The floor in the room seems to have not been cleaned for a few months.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned, which was disappointing. We wanted to check in later, but the reception had already closed at 18.00 h and the description of the entrance location was unclear. After 18.00 h we tried calling, but it wasn’t answered; we only got a voicemail saying the reception would open again the next day. The unclear entrance description and the 18.00 h closing time are unacceptable for a hotel, and the rooms need better cleaning.
