“Somewhat below expectations”

The location is good, a few minutes’ drive from La Fortuna city. The Zeithal staff helped us book an amazing zip‑lining adventure with free transport. You can spot various animals on the property and get a wake‑up call from the howler monkeys. There’s a covered yoga area (manduka mats and blocks provided) and a mini‑gym with a jungle view. We’re both vegan and let them know ahead of time; they confirmed vegan options, but the selection was slim, the almond milk was already sour, and they had no replacement. The whirlpool didn’t have warm water, which is a shame.

We loved the Glamping honeymoon setup, the bed was super comfy, and the natural sounds with the rain made it perfect for rest and disconnecting. The included jacuzzi worked wonderfully, everything was functional and spotless, and breakfast was great because it was buffet‑style and you could eat whatever you wanted. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would come back! I did miss a coffee maker in the room, and a mini fridge would also have been great. I know they offered coffee in the dining area, but with the rain I’d prefer to make it in my room.
