This was my second time here and the breakfast was excellent (definitely not Thai‑style), the bed was comfortable and the air‑conditioning worked well. We mainly come for the unique setting that drops you straight into the country’s vibe. The bathroom is a bit basic—a tiny space where the shower and toilet share the same area that used to be just a toilet—but it’s a clear step up from last year. The ferry terminal is within walking distance and there are plenty of street‑food stalls nearby. It’s far from any noise, offering a pleasant, simple Thai immersion.

“Super séjour”

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and I ended up with a better room than I expected. The house feels very charming, tucked in a quiet lane, complete with a piano and resident cats 🤗. I loved the tofu pad thai served at breakfast! A great little café called Architect Station Coffee is right next door, and a Lotus supermarket is close by. The neighbourhood feels completely local and pleasant. The first night I was unlucky with noisy neighbours and the rooms aren’t sound‑proof, but on the second night I slept very soundly.

The dormitory is really cute. The lady cooks breakfast in the morning, offering fried eggs, omelette, and pad thai. Wow. Super cute and friendly. A family‑friendly environment.

This wooden house feels like a tiny museum with plenty of pretty items, and the dorm is huge enough to just relax in. The AC works well, the bed is comfy, and breakfast is amazing – it could be my best hostel experience ever. I love it so much! Nothing negative at all.
