The washer with dryer was a huge help, the host explained everything very carefully, the room was wide and comfortable, and checking the message board was fun. Because it was in a residential area and I arrived at night, I got a bit lost.

The room was spacious and comfortable for the price, and I stayed at Da Fern for three nights while researching in Sakaiminato; the host, Jock, was friendly and helped me with my research, and I could use the washing machine to wash my clothes. There’s no strong dislike, just a note that you’ll be sharing the common space with the host.

The room was roomy and usable. No one was around and there were no explanatory materials, so I didn’t know what to do. The sheets were missing (maybe forgotten?), and after dinner at night I hesitated to call the owner, so I slept on the futon without sheets.
