The owner was very welcoming and shared a lot of interesting facts about Sri Lanka, the local area, and its history. He organized our day trips flawlessly, and the dinners in the evenings were delicious and wholesome. No reasonable complaints.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, speaks excellent English, and offers free drinking water and tea. He also gave many recommendations on places to visit and how to get there. I stayed in my own room with a bathroom, hot shower, and everything in a very peaceful setting. Dilushas Homestay is ideal for exploring Adam’s Peak and the waterfalls around Maskeliya. I really enjoyed my stay at Dilusha and would recommend it if you can!

The place is not what the photos on Booking show. Don’t be fooled or waste time and money. Everything is just awful, dirty, and full of dust. Everything falls apart and the furniture looks like it was picked up from a dumpster. The owner is also weird and something feels off about him. I’m only posting these four pictures; otherwise I would have posted more. The place is a disgrace to Booking and should be removed from their listings.

A perfect spot with kind owners and good food. They arranged a Tuk Tuk for a reasonable price to visit Gartmore waterfall and many scenic points. From a 10‑minute walk, there’s a great viewpoint of the lake, Adam’s Peak, and waterfalls. Highly recommend and I’ll come back.
