The spot was spot on, breakfast was solid and the food quality was good, the restaurant looked nice and the menu was decent even though we never dined there; the buzz was lively and pleasant. I booked a ground‑floor room, but the folks in the room above were incredibly noisy all night—probably because the old building lacks proper sound insulation—so I barely slept. There was no 24‑hour front desk, so we couldn’t bring it up with anyone, and the building layout made it hard to figure out which room to knock on; the hotel isn’t to blame for the unruly guests, but the lack of night reception meant we couldn’t resolve it.

Comfortable with air con which was essential! Very central with a good restaurant which accommodated residents even when very busy as it was this car festival weekend. Friendly staff. Hangers in wardrobe too high for people of small stature
