The pool was great and the rooms were comfortable, but the food was really bad.

The staff are helpful and friendly. The central facilities are nice, there are hammocks and a good kitchen. It also has a nice pool. The Wi‑Fi is central.

The surroundings and facilities are beautiful: the cabins are well kept, everything is clean, and the views are truly spectacular. We knew in advance that the hotel is away from the center and that access isn’t easy, and that didn’t bother us. However, the service disappointed us a lot. We asked for bottled water because the tap water isn’t potable, and we were surprised that the hotel didn’t have bottled water for guests. We had to walk up about 20 minutes to the village to buy it. When we came back, we simply asked to keep our own bottles in their fridge, and they didn’t even allow that. That was just one of several service mishaps we experienced during the stay. Overall, the staff were unfriendly, rigid, and had very little flexibility to solve any unexpected issues.

I liked how roomy the rooms and bathrooms were, they looked pretty clean and the beds were very comfortable. I slept well and the city views from our bathroom were beautiful. The bug nets over the bed were also very nice and necessary lol. There was plenty of space for your stuff in the rooms. Not something that can really change, but the ceilings of the rooms (cabins may be different) have small gaps so bugs can get in and bats could as well. One bat came in the first night and quickly left, but it was still quite unexpected. We slept with the lights on after that. Just a lot of bugs, but that’s hard to avoid when you’re in the jungle. The restaurant food is unfortunately not the most delicious.
