The location was great, just a short walk from a travel agency offering bus packages and a ticket to the aquarium at a fantastic price, but there were very few places to have breakfast in the morning and the building felt old.

The location was convenient, but the building felt dated and the carpet gave off a strong stale smell that made me want to change rooms. The bathroom fixtures were also old, and while I was taking a shower a lot of water was leaking from everything except the tap. A microwave sat on the TV stand, leaving barely any tabletop space, which made using a laptop a hassle. The window looked straight at the neighboring building’s wall, so there was no sense of openness at all. I had booked a “breakfast included” option, yet the morning spread was just a greasy bento and a bottled tea, packed with fried items like karaage, croquettes and corned beef, which I couldn’t stomach after a few days. After checkout they wouldn’t hold my luggage, so I had to scramble for a coin locker.

The staff were fantastic, but despite staying multiple nights and requesting cleaning every other day, my cup was never washed even once.
