We had to book at the last minute after our ferry got cancelled, so we stayed one night. The host was super quick to answer everything we asked and even set up an early‑morning drop‑off to the port. The apartment is pretty spacious: a living room and kitchen downstairs, two bedrooms upstairs, plenty of room for two of us and even larger groups. Everything was spotless and well kept. The A/C is a bit older but it works fine and isn’t loud enough to disturb sleep. We didn’t cook, so I can’t comment on the kitchen, but it was adequate for what we needed. The spot is convenient—just a 3–5 minute drive to Siquijor port and a 5–10 minute walk to the beach. I’m not sure about nearby restaurants. The only downside was the bathroom: it’s small, the shower isn’t separated from the toilet and sink so everything gets wet when you shower, though the water drains well and there are no standing puddles afterward. Also, the toilet is downstairs, the bedrooms upstairs, and the stairs are steep, which could be a problem for older folks at night.

Staying with host June turned out to be flawless. From the moment we booked, the communication was smooth and she was very helpful. We had plenty of good chats and she shared loads of tips. When our ferry was cancelled, we extended our stay by two days and it was no issue. The house itself is beautifully designed and fully equipped. The second‑floor bedroom has air conditioning, and downstairs the living and dining area come with a basic kitchen, fridge, and fan, so we could cook every day. We didn’t miss anything, and I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, off‑the‑beaten‑path spot yet still close to Siquijor Town and San Juan. Siquijor is just 5 minutes away and San Juan no more than 15 minutes by scooter. Thank you, June, and we hope to see you again.
