I don't know. The smell of cat pee was awful, the bed and bathrooms were terrible… maybe the garden was the only good thing. The cat urine smell, the fleas, the minimal bed with a bad foam mattress, the bathrooms – there’s a huge gap between a rustic place and a dirty one.

The hosts were very loving and caring. The breakfast has been the best in Peru for the past four weeks. The garden is nice to share, and the private balcony with a hammock is a treat. If you ask, they also cook superbly. The toilet flush needs fixing. For insect lovers, there’s a crack between wall and ceiling – it lets in fresh air, though.

The room was cozy and comfortable, with a balcony that lets you unwind on a hammock while enjoying sea views, the lovely garden, and the soothing sound of waves. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean, and featured a good en‑suite shower plus a lovely balcony with a hammock and chair. The breakfast the next day was huge and truly great. Nothing to complain about; it’s rustic, wooden, right by the beach, lovely. They even let us park our motorcycles in the courtyard.

The location was perfect and very peaceful. My room was very comfortable, the lady who ran the hotel was kind and friendly, and she arranged a reasonably priced taxi for my next stop in Mancora. The breakfast was excellent and filling. The hotel was close to nice restaurants and a short walk to the shops. It was just metres from the sea, ideal for a late‑afternoon swim. If I return to Zorritos, I’ll stay here again.
