“2 Nächte in Paarl”
The location was very good, a bit uphill out of town, quiet. We could have walked to the town. The room was fine with a nice terrace and pool. The breakfast area was nicely designed. The bed linen was very fine. The lighting in the room was absolutely terrible. The breakfast was more than simple for a B&B. It also bothered us that the overnight cost wasn’t charged in advance by booking or the guesthouse (the only one among 13 different stays). Mid‑journey we were asked to pay, which was obviously impossible. No one was visible when we arrived, only the gate opened with a button. There was no note in the room indicating the breakfast time, so we almost missed it.
