“Wonderful hotel and really nice room (we had the room with a soaking tub near the bed).”
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the bedroom had a soaking tub, and the food was good but not excellent.

A lovely spot tucked into a charming little village, the food was really good and the staff were friendly; it could become a favorite for overnight stays around Bristol, though the service was a touch slow.

“Clean, slept well, but definitely not value for money”
The staff were polite and the hotel was very clean, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we slept very well; the coffee machine with pods was fab, the few smelly products in the bathroom were great, and the food hall/bar looked and smelled amazing. However, the price for the small room was high, the room was quite dark with poor lighting even though there were table lamps, there was no bath as the website had suggested, storage for clothes was just a coat hook with a few hangers, breakfasts were not included (I think it was £20 pp to add on to the almost £150 we already paid), and for the cost—given the size, the advertised luxury level, the missing bath, the minimal clothes rail, and no dressing gown—I was disappointed.

The hotel and its setting in Wedmore were stunning, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, the food great, the atmosphere lovely, and the facilities wonderful—an ideal night away; I’ll definitely come back, just wish the parking signs were clearer.
