There was a lot of space, but it wasn’t clean. The shared kitchen was on the balcony of our room, the beds were wobbly, and the facilities were poor. The room had a sink and a water tank that smelled bad. Early in the morning they started drilling and playing music. Don’t come.

AL and Lisa were so welcoming and friendly. The room was cold, clean, and definitely big enough.

We had so much fun at Al’s place. He is an amazing host and really helped us with everything we needed. The rooms are big and clean and there is a generator. We stayed during a power outage and Al and his staff helped us with laundry and everything. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much Al, we love you❤️. Everything was amazing.

Al was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. The spot is well‑located, just a 2‑minute walk to cafés and restaurants, and a 5‑minute scooter ride to General Luna. It’s quiet yet conveniently placed, and scooter parking is easy. The room comes with air conditioning and a fan. It feels a bit too rustic for my taste, so insects can be an issue, there’s no generator for the frequent power cuts on the island, and the place could be cleaner. Still, Al was there whenever I had a problem, offered alternative spots during outages, helped me find a driver and a scooter, and overall gave me an authentic local experience.
