It’s quite remote with stunning scenery all around, tucked into a small woodland patch, and the place was spotless. The host kindly let me in late after my arrival was delayed by several hours. My room was small but well‑furnished, offering great value. The friendly kitty in the yard kept me up the first night with her constant meowing, but that was the only drawback; there was no other staff present.

The place was neglected, and the owner left us right after we arrived. It had huge potential, but its golden years seem to be behind it. The TV didn’t work, the internet was spotty, and the air‑conditioning that was promised was missing from our room. The kitchenette that had been provided to us a long time ago was cleaned… a shame because the owner was friendly over the phone, but…
