I really liked how everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. The staff were super helpful and always ready to answer questions or do anything I needed during my stay. The vibe was friendly and cozy, and I felt genuinely taken care of. I also appreciated the useful recommendations and the effort to make my stay easy and enjoyable.

The bed is a bit basic, but the mattress is fine. The cleaning is actually pretty good, and the public spaces have a great atmosphere; the living room is warm and comfy, and the dining area and kitchen tools are great. People from all over the world gather to eat and chat, which gives it that real hostel feel. The only downside is that the bed could use a curtain.

I arrived late at night via the Denali to Alaska Railroad into Fairbanks, and the host had left a note in front of the door, making check‑in a breeze. I left very early the next morning, so I never actually met the host in person, but the process was smooth and hassle‑free. The room’s décor was stylish, and the bathroom was clean and fresh.

自転車が無料で借りられるので、近くの公園など気軽に出かけられてとても助かりました。 また、冷蔵庫や電子レンジ、ケトル、お皿、フォークなどキッチンにはある程度揃っていました。 ドライヤーがあるのはかなりプラスポイント。 バスターミナルが徒歩圏内にあるのも良い点ではありますが、最終バスが早かったり土日祝は運休になるので注意。結局バスターミナルや空港への移動は全てUberで移動しました。 こういったゲストハウスの良いところだと思うのですが、オーロラが出てきたと宿の方がわざわざ呼びに来てくださり、バッチリ見られたのは最高でした！1日中天気が悪く、諦めて早々に寝ていたので本当に助かりました。その後も粘って外に座って観察していると、宿の方が「冬にはムースが来たんだよ」と写真を見せてくださったり、冬の方が空気が澄んでてオーロラが綺麗なことなど話してくださったので、またフェアバンクスに来たいなぁと思いました。. 2段ベッドに柵がないので、上の段は要注意。ベッドは早い者勝ちです。
