The staff were friendly, the place felt nostalgic as it’s an old haunt of mine, breakfast was included, I met other travelers, rooms were comfy, food was good, and there was a discount for staying guests, so I gave it a 9.0/10. The narrow staircase was a challenge but I managed, and the football final made the night a bit noisy, but it didn’t stop me from sleeping, so I couldn’t really complain.

I arrived almost a day late and the room waited for me; the hotel feels like a portal to the past, preserving its historic vibe with antique furniture, though the drawer pulls are stiff and need careful handling. There are few rooms, and the shower was always free when I needed it. The hair dryer was good. In the pub I tried a pizza with crocodile meat, which was unusual and tasty! Thanks for the koala keychain :)
