Great location near the beach

The chalet includes a well‑equipped kitchen with stovetop, oven and refrigerator, plus an outdoor dining area with furniture. Inside, a living room and a separate bedroom provide three beds, accommodating up to two guests. The private bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower.

They refused to issue our refund, repeatedly promising it yet still haven't paid us today.
“Disgusting”
There was little to like, and the place didn't match the photos; the chalet we stayed in was covered in black mold, especially in the bathroom where the smell was dangerous if the windows were closed. We struggled to reach the staff because their phone was off, and they blamed a signal issue—untrue, as my Vodacom phone had full signal. We arrived early and tried to wait by the pools, but ended up waiting across the road. The pool itself was full of green algae, and photos show the ceilings and bathroom walls covered in mold.
“Good old tugela”
It wasn't luxurious but rustic and simple, which I loved, and the location and view were perfect; the staff and host were awesome. There was hardly anything else to complain about, except the absence of a game room.
The view was amazing, and the cottage was very comfortable and clean, but the swimming pool could use a little TLC.
The area, proximity to the beach and pools, is a great drawcard for the park, and the quaint cottages have so much potential! Compared to our previous stay, the park overall feels deteriorated; maintenance and care seem lacking, which is a shame. It appears to be for sale, and I hope new owners can rejuvenate its charm and breathe new life into this beautiful venue.
