I paid a lot for a room but I didn’t receive the room I booked, and I was told to pay more to get a room.

After visiting the hotel, I was forced to cancel my booking, even though I had come 500 kilometers away with my wife in an emergency, and had paid 1000 UPI to secure a room at Aman Residency; within four hours the check‑in was processed by the booking company, but the hotel’s partner verification was lacking—there was no TV, the facilities were poor, and my wife’s needs were ignored.
