The location and the ease of communication with owner Nicola were good. About thirty minutes before the allowed check‑in time, a woman knocked on the door with a lot of coldness, didn’t even greet us, and told us we had to vacate the room. She waited outside the door all the time, and just as we left (10 minutes before the maximum time) she still didn’t greet us and kept staring at our luggage as if checking we hadn’t taken anything. She made us feel very uncomfortable. The only thing she managed to do was chase us out to ask for the tourist tax money (which we had correctly left in the room with the keys as requested). She didn’t even apologize for the blunder. It was very embarrassing; my daughter and I were treated like unwanted guests with absolute disrespect instead of paying customers (260 € for one night without breakfast for 1 adult and 1 13‑year‑old girl).

The room was spacious, modern, clean, and the location was excellent; it was also handy to be able to stash luggage after checkout and before leaving. The only drawback was the price.

The location was perfect, close to the waterbus stop and convenient for the airport and getting around; there were many nice local restaurants and a breakfast café, and the area was mostly quiet with no internal noise. The downside was that the sink and shower traps were clogged, causing slow drainage, though otherwise the room was clean and well presented.
