The breakfast was tasty and the staff were charming, making the stay enjoyable, but the Jacobean room felt a bit cramped and the high side tables made it hard to reach the electric socket, and the hairdryer was a little flimsy.

Nette Gartenanlage die zum verweilen einlädt. Es sind Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden. Das Hotel ist Bestandteil des schönen Ortskerns und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal überzeug nicht durch Kompetenz und Freundlichkeit. Nach 22:00 ist man an der Bar eher lästig, da der Barkeeper Feierabend machen möchte. Zum Frühstück bestellt man einen Earl-grey Tee und bekommt normalen Frühstücks-Tee

I stayed at a lovely hotel on the main street that’s full of character and period touches; everyone on the team was friendly and professional, and the breakfast and restaurant food were fantastic, so I highly recommend it, though we were caught in a heatwave with no air‑conditioning—fans were supplied but it still felt like an oven, and parking was tight, especially for larger cars.

The old building is charming and full of character, and the gardens are beautiful with plenty of spots to sit and relax, but there’s no air‑conditioning in the hot weather.
