Late‑night check‑in was hassle‑free, the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the view was breathtaking, the nights were super quiet, parking was right next to the hotel, and breakfast ran from 8:00 to 10:00. No complaints at all.

The breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but it was good and covered all the basics, and our room was lovely and spacious with excellent beds and a spotless bathroom. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated, small property that’s clean and immaculate, though it was a pity the restaurant was closed; the dining area (pergola, winter garden) looks wonderful. Unfortunately, the rooms got very hot at night and a proper air‑conditioning system would have been welcome—a fan provided some airflow but stopped being effective once the temperature rose beyond a certain point.

I can’t judge the breakfast because I don’t eat it. I liked the fragrant pergola of American grapes. I think the lack of an elevator should be mentioned to guests. With a bad knee I had to haul my suitcase up the spiral staircase, which was painful; if I had known, I wouldn’t have booked. Another flaw is the missing mosquito net on at least one window in the room. Without air conditioning, windows should be able to open at night to cool the room, but the area is full of mosquitoes, so I had to keep the windows closed and endure the heat because every evening I found one of the radiators boiling, the knob fully open. I mentioned it to the kind lady on duty in the morning, but it happened again every night.
