The accommodation was clean, spacious, and easy to reach for my disabled partner, and any small issues were handled immediately.

The location was great – Ingoldmells is just around the corner and the beach is right on your doorstep, while Skegness is only a 10‑minute drive. Communication with the owners was good, and the instructions were clear; they just ask you to respect the rules and the caravan. The beds felt like concrete, the carpet had urine stains and needed a proper clean, and the owners apparently let their dogs urinate in the caravan or leave the dog unattended, which is against the rules. If you don’t want to bring your dog, leave it at home or put it in the kennels while you’re away; the other caravans around you are watching you, and rightly so.

The location was fine, but the property was run down and I couldn’t get in on arrival because I was sent the wrong key code. The deposit was not returned in full for some reason, with no explanation.

The location was perfect – close to the beach, shops, and amusements. However, if you have children, Golden Sands offers nothing for them: there’s a club, a bar, and a laundrette, but no other activities. The nearest amusement park is ten minutes away, and the rides cost £3–£50 or £5–£00, which is very expensive if you have more than one child.
