You’d need an entire book to explain what we endured, starting with the shabby entrance surrounded by dead plants and trees—a terrible first impression—then a filthy room and a bathroom that stayed dirty for five days despite asking reception to clean it; even the manager inspected personally but did nothing, the floor was covered in dust, the squeaky bed sounded like Beethoven’s Ninth whenever we moved, and the industrial‑style view looked out onto abandoned factories with crumbling Eternit roofs, torn curtains and insects everywhere, even the walls were marked with “crushes”; breakfast was non‑existent and the staff wore sour faces, the only slight plus was the proximity to the Old Town, but after ten days we had to find another hotel and pay extra, so beware and I’m shocked the 4‑star rating wasn’t checked—I'm considering legal action to recover the difference I spent for the remaining nights and the ruined vacation, and I have all the documentation.
