The Pousada is in the PROVIDÊNCIA neighborhood, a fantastic spot—always book in PROVIDÊNCIA or Las Condes because they’re hubs with everything, nearby bars, and a metro station you can walk to. It’s 900 m from the Funicular (Bondinho) and 300 m from Baquedano metro station. Usually you’re the last to catch the ride to the snow trips at Portillo, but on the return you’re among the first to descend, which matters if you’re up at 4:00 am to get ready for a trip. The only thing we liked about the Pousada is its great LOCATION and VALUE. During my 7‑day stay at Casa Rayan, when you book, a credit‑card hold is placed, and close to the arrival date the owner contacts you via WhatsApp, asking for a 1‑night advance payment in Chilean pesos or a card with a 5 % fee. When I arrived, I settled the rest, and the payment went to the café lady, who was very confused about the payment. I found that odd because we’d prefer to pay directly by credit card through the booking platform rather than with the inn. The house is a very old mansion with antique rustic décor, reminiscent of horror films like “The Conjuring” and “Annabelle.” It has a three‑story wooden staircase, so the creaking noise when people go up and down is annoying and echoes into the rooms. The house offers both private and shared bathrooms; we stayed in the shared one, which is very old, and the shower is difficult to get hot water; when it does, it’s almost scalding, and we often had to take cold showers because we couldn’t get it hot. We put a friend in a small room that only fits a single bed. The rooms, at least 301 and 302, had mold. There’s no TV in the rooms or the lounge on the first floor. Breakfast runs from 9:00 to 10:30, which is too late for early‑morning tourists who usually leave at 5:00 am. The ladies have no iron or hair dryer.

Casa Ryan is a comfortable, safe, and beautiful place; the streets were very quiet at night, at least for me, and I would definitely recommend it.

“Buena alojamiento”

La ubicación,amabilidad y buen desayuno. La habitación no contaba con, yo fui solo por un día, pero quizás para más días se agradecería poder ver aunque sea una película
