The spot and the views were wonderful, the old building was charming, the room was cozy with a good bed. Yet several small oversights dampened the experience: a terrace in front of the breakfast room left with leftovers, a pile of dead insects in a corner of the restaurant floor, a broken or missing towel holder in our room, and a vanity mirror mounted in a way that made it hard to use. We had a room that opened onto a common terrace that looked like a closed‑off area—dead plants, sunshades on the floor, seating in disarray. Overall the hotel works fine, but the lack of detail care made it feel like it didn’t match the price we paid.

Breakfast and dinner were very good; the evening selection was a bit limited for those who can’t eat Eierschwammerl, but the quality was excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaner; it matched the pictures, but I think the price for the room and breakfast is a bit high compared to other hotels. It was a nice stay, just a bit pricey for what was offered.

The location is perfect and the balcony offers a stunning view of the rooms. The hotel’s private access to the park pool lets you visit comfortably on a hot day. The staff are very friendly, and the food and breakfast selection are excellent. I also liked the bar terrace, where a warm summer evening ends nicely. The only downside is that smokers are directed to the “Sun downer” before the venue, so I can’t understand why smoking is prohibited on the terrace (open area).

The woman at check‑in was very friendly. The air‑conditioning could be set individually, and because of the moderate outdoor temperatures it was often unnecessary at night. A refrigerator in the room was very handy at those temperatures. The service staff were quick and courteous. Breakfast on the terrace was great, but unfortunately it was cut short by a swarm of wasps. The internet sometimes didn’t work, which actually made the relaxation better.
