The room matched the photos and had a big bed. It’s near a street with a few shops and restaurants. The reception was basic, the staff seemed friendly but didn’t really speak English, and it was quite noisy.

We had a very pleasant stay at Trincomalee. Sunbreeze Guest House is well located, close to the beach and on the main street of Uppaveli, where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and other venues, making it very convenient to get around the area. We stayed out of season, when there was little tourism, and still our experience was fantastic. The service was excellent, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, something that after several days of traveling is greatly appreciated. Overall we felt very comfortable and enjoyed a calm and pleasant stay. A totally recommended place if you’re going to spend a few days in Trincomalee.

The accommodation is very well situated, just a 5‑minute walk to the beach and right next to a street full of restaurants and small souvenir shops. The shower is right next to the toilet. Make sure to remove the toilet paper if you don’t want it to get soaked.

The room was clean and functional. The Homestay is ideally located next to the main street that has restaurants and the beach.
