“Sufficient for a night's stay”

The staff and room were very good, and the common area was well separated from the rooms. Cooking facilities and tea/coffee supplies were great, plus a washing machine and a drying facility. The location and accessibility were a bit shady; we saw sex workers right next to the hotel. You can’t open the curtains, and the view is into a neighboring run‑down building. The bed was on the floor and springy. Even though it’s close to an upscale main road, the road feels shady from a tourist perspective day or night. The kitchen sink area always smelled of something rotten, the rice and ingredients seemed to have worms, and the cat food bowl was not clean at all.

The comfort and cleanliness of the apartment, along with William’s warmth and diligence, are the reasons I would definitely recommend this option. I would definitely stay again! :)

The location is good for walking to the pier in 10 minutes. The room was fine, and there’s a shared kitchen and laundry. Unfortunately, Semporna is a very ugly and dirty city. The property is in a very degraded neighborhood. The main entrance looks like a service door and there’s no intercom. There’s another door with a lock that is really dangerous in an emergency. The first night there were loud noises outside, and on the last night a strong burnt smell came from outside. It doesn’t match the price we paid, because at the same price we got much better rooms with breakfast included. The kitchen needs better cleaning. I’m sorry, but it needs improvement or the price should be adjusted to the level of the property.
