We experienced a classic old‑house stay, and the staff were very kind, recommending great local shops and making our stay comfortable.

The inn was ideal for a quiet weekend escape; Maki‑San and Kazhuki‑San were among the best hosts we've had. I adored the bath and the homemade meals—Maki‑San is an excellent chef, and her dishes were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're traveling in Iwaki.

I can’t wait to return ♥︎ Kazoo and Maki are the best hosts ever. We came as a family with a baby and a small child, and we were given an entire small house with a silky‑smooth private onsen. It was the best homestay experience I've had, even after months of traveling in Japan; it felt like visiting friends or family. We’re glad we ordered breakfast and dinner—Maki is a professional chef and made us absolutely delicious food. Though it’s not a very popular destination, there’s plenty to do nearby. We can’t wait to come back.
