The room was fine, the shower worked well, the pool was a bit chilly. The room smelled, the pool wasn’t warm, and the price was too high.

I booked in advance, but when I arrived at 10 p.m. the hotel was fully booked and they said there were no rooms. I was traveling alone with a young child, it was late, and I couldn’t imagine having to find a new hotel from scratch in a city I didn’t know. The front‑desk clerk quickly and creatively offered us a room that was technically closed because of a broken shower, and he gave us a $100 discount for the inconvenience. The whole exchange took about five minutes, and we were in our room getting ready for bed. Thank you so much, Chris!

“Nice facilities, great location. The things that need attention are simple fixes.”

Breakfast and the coffee station were fine. Housekeeping was terrible: after not having serviced the room for three days, they removed the towels and didn’t replace them, so I had to call the front desk for towels. I complained the next morning and the front desk promised someone would service the room that day. When they took out the trash, the bed cover was thrown across the bed without the sheets being remade underneath it. The room had also not been properly dusted for a while, as there was a significant layer of dust on the telephone.

“Will definitely stay there again”

I’ll stay here again. The breakfast and coffee were among the best we’ve had. All the amenities were provided, and the location wasn’t in a very noisy area either. There’s nothing else I can think of that’s wrong.
