The hotel is clean, free of bad odors, and the furniture looks modern and new. The breakfast cook was also very friendly, though the breakfast itself is quite basic. Honestly, I hated the experience. The White Garden is tiny and feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. The photos on Booking don’t reflect the real size of the rooms. The 4‑person room was tiny, and the bathroom was even smaller, making the stay uncomfortable for a family. The hotel barely has a social area: the reception and entrance are cramped, so guests end up staying there, creating a rather unpleasant vibe. I didn’t like the reception service either; I didn’t feel warmly welcomed and the staff’s attitude was strange and unwelcoming. Another issue was discovering upon arrival that the hotel’s direct rate was significantly lower than what we paid through Booking. We paid 6.247 MZN for the stay, while the same 4‑person room with breakfast at the hotel was listed at 4.500 MZN—almost a 40 % difference. This added to the sense that what’s shown on Booking is far from the reality: the space is much different than the photos suggest, and we ended up paying much more through the platform. The hotel is clean and modern, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of space, the unwelcoming atmosphere, and the overall experience. I don’t think this hotel is suitable for a family and I don’t recommend it.
