Móðir Jörð Organic Farm Guesthouse in Vallanes

“Sadly, won’t be coming back.”

This was my third visit. The location is great, and the new vegetarian restaurant is fantastic. They also sell a good selection of farm products. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open for dinner or breakfast when we arrived, which was a major disappointment since the vegetarian dining was a key reason for our trip. If the place is partially closed, that should be clearly advertised.

The farm is secluded and offers nice walks. The room was very well equipped. I liked everything, though it might be a bit pricey for not having breakfast included.

“Lovely, comfortable cabin rooms and good breakfast and farm made beer!”

Beautiful location in a green forested and farmed valley. The cabin rooms were very comfortable with a small refrigerator and a living room and bedroom area. The construction was all of native woods. We saw northern lights one night

“Un piccolo chalet da sogno immerso nel bosco”

I was truly amazed by the facility! The chalet was very cute, welcoming, and comfortable—everything was perfect. The view from the windows was simply stunning, surrounded by green, with the forest wrapping around the cottage and creating a very special atmosphere. Impeccable cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff. A place I would definitely return to!

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft! Das Essen (Frühstück und Abend) mit frischen, vor Ort angebauten Zutaten war fantastisch und das Personal sehr freundlich! Ruhige Lage, abseits des Touristenstroms!
