Hotel Helios enjoys a superb spot close to the sea and is easy to reach by public transport; our balcony room was comfortable, though the bathroom was tiny—no issue for us but guests who want a larger bathroom should mention it when booking. Breakfast was plentiful with sweet and savory items, missing only cereal, yet still offering plenty of croissants, cakes, cold cuts, eggs and hot drinks. The staff were very accommodating to our needs, and a free beach is just a five‑minute walk away.

The location near the sea and the city centre was good. The bathroom was uncomfortable, the toilet was attached to the shower so you had your feet in the shower, the blinds were broken so they didn’t close, and even though the balcony had a sea view we didn’t see the sea. The rooms were not sound‑proofed; we heard a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms. At 5 am we were woken by a boy vomiting in the evening who seemed to be in our bathroom.
